Additionally, the response time has been reduced, and now players have even more options for choosing a maneuver in dangerous situations. Feints have also been improved, which allow you to suddenly change direction in order to confuse defenders and put them off balance. The outcome in 1v1 game situations is now completely unpredictable and depends only on your skill. Players have many options - precise movements, dodges and instant dashes away from the defender. With the right technique and the right timing, you can throw a defender off balance and create a great scoring chance.
- Impeccable defense - the timely execution of the tackle along a well-calculated trajectory allows the player to take possession of the ball. After that, a successful counterattack is a matter of technique.
- Artificial intelligence of partners - thanks to the modified "team" concept, it becomes possible to play in conjunction. You no longer have to lead several players, manually switching between them - teammates will themselves enter the position in the vacated space to receive the pass.
- Goalkeeper stats - In an effort to improve the quality of the game and give goalkeepers individuality, we have added new parameters to their characteristics: "catching the ball", "goal kick", "jumping" and "batting". During the game, you will have to take into account the skills of your goalkeeper, rely on his strengths and try to protect the goal from the most unpleasant shots for him.
- Control over emotions - for the first time in the series, players will be able to personally take part in the celebration of the goal. After a successful attack on the opponent´s goal, it will be possible to arrange traditional jubilations or perform individual movements at the touch of a button.
- New "Master League" - the popular mode is completely modernized and will allow players to immerse themselves in the world of football management. Absolutely everything - from colorful menus to the new player transfer system - has been changed and improved. PES 2016 will introduce a brand new "Master League" mode.
