Barotrauma is a multiplayer 2D submarine simulator in the survival horror genre. Influenced by games such as FTL: Faster Than Light, RimWorld, Dwarf Fortress and Space Station 13, this sci-fi game combines rag doll physics, underwater alien monsters, teamwork and overwhelming fear.
• It´s better to play online - gather from 2 to 16 players on a submarine. The number of players can be increased through bots. Single-player mode is also available and will be developed further
• 6 classes of players with different skills and tasks: captain, engineer, mechanic, doctor, security officer and assistant
• Procedurally generated map and missions and multiple game modes will keep you playing this game over and over again
• Built-in submarine, character and procedurally generated animation editors. Find and share mods directly in the Steam Workshop
• All data is presented in XML format, and the program code is publicly available on GitHub
